Your network events stay yours.

HoneyBox was designed around a simple promise: no cloud infrastructure required for core operation.

No cloud required

HoneyBox runs as a standalone device on your LAN. Emulated services, configuration, and attacker logs are handled locally. You do not need a SiloCity Labs cloud account to detect probes or review history.

What stays on the device

  • Service configuration and port selection
  • Honeypot interaction logs on the SD card
  • Local web UI access limited to your network context

Optional email alerts

If you enable email alerts, messages follow the mail settings you configure. That path is yours — HoneyBox does not require routing events through a SiloCity Labs analytics cloud.

This website

The marketing site at localhoneypot.com may use standard hosting logs (IP, user agent, pages requested) to operate and secure the site. It is separate from HoneyBox device operation.

Companion app

The companion PWA is intended for LAN management. Use it on networks you trust. See in-app notices for any additional details as features evolve.
